Purposes, legal bases and retention

• Browsing: the server records IP address, date, requested page and browser to run the site and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in site security (art. 6.1.f). Retention: 14 days.
• Contact form: name, email and message are used to answer the request. Legal basis: request of the data subject (art. 6.1.b). Retention: until deletion is requested.
• Condolence messages: message, signature and email are used to forward the message to the family and to send a confirmation. Legal basis: request of the data subject (art. 6.1.b). If you choose to make the message public, it appears on the page of the deceased with signature and date: publication is based on consent (art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw by asking for removal. The email is not published. Retention: as long as the page of the deceased is online.
• Tell an acquaintance: your email and your acquaintance's email are used only to send the notice. Legal basis: request of the data subject (art. 6.1.b). Retention: until deletion is requested.
• Cookies: see the cookie policy.

Recipients

Technical service providers (development, hosting and maintenance of the site, email) processing data on behalf of the controller. Condolence messages are sent to the family of the deceased.

Transfers outside the EU

The Google services described in the cookie policy may involve data transfers to the United States, on the basis of the European Commission adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Providing data

Providing data is optional. Without the data requested by the forms the request cannot be carried out.

Rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data and object to processing (arts. 15-22 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing. Write to torboli@zandonatti.it. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it). No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
